Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of PersProtect. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to them.
The service
PersProtect scans data-broker and people-search sites and known breach databases for your personal information, submits removal requests, and monitors for new exposure. Monitoring plans alert you to what we find; Removal plans also submit and track takedowns.
No guarantee of complete removal
We work hard to remove your data, but we cannot guarantee 100% removal. Data brokers frequently re-publish information, and some sites are outside our reach. Removal is an ongoing process, not a one-time event, which is why coverage is provided on a subscription basis.
Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
- A Monitoring trial of $4.99 for 3 days converts automatically to a yearly Monitoring plan unless cancelled before it ends.
- You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.
Acceptable use
PersProtect is for checking and protecting your own information, or that of people on your plan who have consented. You may not use it to surveil, locate, or investigate other people without authorization. We may suspend accounts that violate this rule.
Disclosures
PersProtect is not a consumer reporting agency, and our reports may not be used for FCRA-covered decisions. See our Legal Disclosures for our FCRA, DPPA, and California privacy notices.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, PersProtect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
